Any trees on the “tree seeds” section should be available as a potted tree come spring/summer.
Note on trees: The trees that I have are saplings. Most are between 1-2 years old (between 6 inches to 2 feet tall).
Although it is tempting to buy and plant a more mature tree for instant gratification, growing in place from seed or transplanting a very young tree will typically result in a healthier tree. It will also frequently result in a tree that will catch up to and perhaps surpass a larger transplanted tree. A tree transplanted at an older age will often struggle to form a healthy and stable root system in it’s new location. A tree grown in place from seed or a young transplanted sapling is better set up to thrive in it’s chosen location, and will develop a healthier and more stable root system early on.
